I build websites and also work at hosting provider FlexyNode. That means I know not just the front end but the technology underneath: servers, domains, email, speed. If something goes wrong with your hosting you do not have to queue at a help desk, I look at it myself.
Because I do all of it myself, you always know who you are talking to. Your request, your questions during the build and your messages after going live all reach the same person. It also means I am honest about my planning: I would rather tell you something will take a week longer than leave you waiting for a reply.
What I do it for
A lot of business owners get stuck on the same thing: having a website made feels expensive and complicated, and you probably know the stories about builders who stop replying halfway through. I built my way of working around that.
I agree a fixed price up front, so you know where you stand. You pay a deposit at the start and the rest only once your site is up and you are happy. And you do not have to chase me to find out how things are going: you see that in your portal.
I deliberately take on no more projects than I can follow up properly. Fewer projects, more time per project. That is a choice: I would rather every client gets an answer than fill my calendar.
How I work

For me a project does not start in a design tool but in a conversation. I want to know what your business does, who ends up on your site and what that person is looking for. That takes time up front, but it saves a lot of wrong turns later.
For the execution I use modern tools, including AI where it helps me work faster. That is equipment, nothing more: the choices, the design and the quality stay mine. I go through what I deliver line by line, and I am responsible for it.

Using your own hosting is fine too, but my support is more limited then because I cannot reach your environment myself.
